Heidi and I have known each other for I think about a decade already, so it was a real privilege to be able to photograph a wedding for a friend that I’ve known for so long! She and Jason have been dating for almost nearly as long! He finally popped the question last year and I had been sort of giving her advice for wedding planning since that happened. Planning a wedding with a limited budget is always difficult, but still very doable! I’m still a true believer that no matter what budget you have you can still have an amazing wedding! All of her hard work paid off this Fall when they tied the knot in a Catholic ceremony at the Spirit of Christ Catholic Church in Arvada, Colorado. This church is a beautiful venue to hold a traditional wedding. It boasts gorgeous stained glassed windows, an amazing courtyard, awesome architecture and it also has a fellowship hall that can be rented out for receptions as well, which is where this couple also held their dinner and dancing after the ceremony. Church ceremonies usually have more of a formal feel to them, but even so this couple still had a laid back vibe to their event wanting to spend as much time as possible enjoying the company of all their guests so we tried to do as many formal photos before the ceremony that we could!

Beautiful bride, handsome groom and fun and celebrations with everyone they love! What more can you ask for? Congrats again you two! Here’s to many more years together!
